London, 7th July, 2016 - Havas Group has appointed Patricia López as its new Head of Mobext UK. This nomination signifies a new era of growth for the agency in response to a surge in client demand for holistic mobile marketing services in the UK.
In her new role, López will lead the UK Mobext division, comprised of 10 mobile specialists delivering mobile strategy, media, data, creative, content and business solutions to advertisers. She will be responsible for driving the development and delivery of innovative, business-building mobile marketing solutions and further develop the Havas mobile offering across all media and creative agencies in the UK, ahead of the opening of Havas Village in 2017.
Patricia began her new role in the UK on Wednesday 15 June reporting to Julia Jordan, MD responsible for investment and solutions at Havas Media Group, and Marco Rigon, Global Head of Mobext.
Joining from Havas Media New York, López brings with her a strong track record of success for amplifying mobile capabilities across the group. Having started at Havas Media NYC as an assistant digital media planner, she quickly worked her way up the career ladder where most recently she held the position of Mobile Marketing Manager, ensuring the delivery of innovative mobile strategy and media plans for brands including GUESS, Philips, LVMH and NBTY.
Rigon said: “The UK is one of the mobile industry’s advanced markets, so our activity there needs to represent the best and brightest of our offer. I am glad to welcome Patricia to this new role, where she will help us to drive mobile-first data and content, leveraged through our new mobile programmatic offer, across all entities within Havas Group in the UK. ”
